This shock
comes form the industry leader in open wheel racing shocks. The
1000 Series shock has a black hard anodized aluminum body machined
with a coarse thread for a coil-over adjustable nut and for maximum
cooling efficiency.
This shock allows the compression and
rebound to be adjusted proportionately right from the cockpit.
The left rear (8-2 or 10-3 range) rebound adjustable shock can change
from a maximum tie down shock to a straight valving combination right
from the driver's seat.
The 1000 Series shock is superior to any
small body shock on the market, making use of CNC machined aluminum
internal parts designed for racing with no aftermarket parts-instead
of modified passenger car parts. Aluminum billet pistons and
base valve assemblies provide the most consistent performance of any
twin-tube shock in the industry.
The small body accept the light weight 1
7/8" I.D. spring and the black chromoly shaft is available in 5", 6",
7", 8" and 9" strokes. This shock is recommended for
mini-sprints, modified midgets, midgets, TQ midgets and sprint cars.
