Products Speed Partz recently
announced the creation of FOZ Racing Products--a subsidiary responsible for
the manufacture of high-quality racing parts for mini-sprints, modified
midgets, micro-sprints and TQ midgets.
"Over the past three years we have worked
hard to provide racers in the open wheel, welter-weight racing classes the
parts and accessories they need. Unfortunately many times it was hard
to find a reliable source for the products. In many cases the easiest
solution was to manufacture the parts ourselves." explained Speed Partz
owner, Larry Fasse. "Now that we have a few of these products under
our belt we decided we need to give them an identity so customers can ask
for them by name."

Chain Tensioner
The FOZ Products Chain Tensioner is the hot ticket for chain drive cars.
"We've had several customers call back to thank us for this product after
they received and started using it", explained Larry Fasse. It is
important to run your chain fairly loose so that you don't bind up the
suspension or cause additional drag. Unfortunately a loose chain is
easily thrown. This chain tensioner squeezes the chain together
allowing it to be run much looser without the risk of being thrown.

Rock Guard
Most of the rock guards on the market are made for wider sprint car cages.
As a result most mini-sprints, modified midgets, micro-sprints and TQs
either go without a rock guard. A rock guard is an important piece of
safety equipment capable of stopping rocks and other debris from entering
the cockpit. The new FOZ Product Rock Guard is 23.5" wide and 9" tall
to fit narrower cage widths found on many of the smaller cars.
Additionally the rock guard features wrap around sides and a black plastic
coating that cuts down on glare and deadens vibration noises. The rock
guard sells for $39.95.

Torsion Bar Bushings
It is no secret that nylon torsion bar bushings are better than aluminum or
brass. They allow the torsion bars to seat better and quicker.
However it is often hard to find 1" and smaller bushings. Speed Partz
delivers with Torsion Bar Bushings in 1", 3/4" and 7/8" sizes. They
sell for $3.50 each.
