Thanks, from all of us at Speed Partz for the large
turnout at our open house this past Saturday, February 25th.
To each of you who made the effort to stop by I thank you for your
interest and support of racing in this area. My only regret is that I
did not have the chance to spend time with more people because that is
what I enjoy about this business. Quite frankly the response was a
little over whelming, I hope each of you enjoyed your visit to Speed
Partz and will come back. Our doors are open throughout the week and
we like to have people stop by. I hope those of you that came seeking
parts were taken care of, but I know we ran behind most of the day;
thanks for your patience and patronage. Thank you to many who came
from long distances, it was nice to put a face with a voice.
I hope you enjoyed the hotdogs and got the chance
to bench race a little with friends and competitors. I wanted to
thank Jamie Paul for making the effort to bring his new beautifully
prepared FOZ Mini Sprint for display. Good luck to Jamie, Jake Cook,
Jason Soudrette, Pat Potter and others around the country that are
stepping into new FOZ Mini Sprints for the 2006 season.
At the risk of leaving someone out I want thank
some people. Thanks to John Godfrey and his wife Valarie for
attending and also allowing us to display the #20 Venture Racing Spike
Midget. Thanks to others for making the effort to attend and
contribute; Tom Wieck from Lawrenceburg Speedway, Jerry Tague of the
AMSA, Greg Stanfield of Spike Chassis, Jerry Wahl of DARF, and Jim
Brunner of Final Lap Magazine. Thanks also to the infamous Carroll
Hargis for his enthusiastic demos of Schaeffer Oil Products.
Our intent at SpeedPartz is to provide some of the
best products we can find and give the best possible service so you
can go race and have fun doing it.
Thank you again to each of you that attended, if I
didn’t get a chance to say hello or you have some questions, please
call. Our plan will be to do this next year with a little experience
under our belts.
A final thank you to my family for the help and
support they provided Saturday and everyday.
I hope you all have a fun safe year of racing.
