“We have
received numerous requests for a digital tachometer. Until now we
haven’t had anything that we were comfortable selling”, commented
Speed Partz’s Larry Fasse. Speed Partz recently announced that they
will begin selling the DRP Digital Tachometer.
Featuring
a CNC milled aluminum enclosure that houses the latest digital signal
processing technology, the DRP Tachometer is built to stand up to the
rigors of auto racing. Fasse went on to explain, “Prior to this the
only other option available seemed to be the small aftermarket digital
tachometers purposely built for motorcycles. Although inexpensive,
they didn’t seem to be at all reliable for our application.(motorcycle-powered
race cars).”
The DRP also provides additional
features like a user adjustable backlit display, a built-in
car-battery meter, on-screen help and recall of the last three high
rpm readings. |
