New Drivers Take To the Track at Moler Raceway Park.

On Sunday November 22nd a few new drivers were given the chance to take a spin in the FOZ rental car at Moler Raceway Park.  The uncharacteristically warm weather provided the perfect late season opportunity for the outing.  Drivers for the day included Larry Fasse's granddaughter, Sami, his daughter-in-law Terry, Kim and Kevin Moler's daughter Bethany and retired mini sprint racer Mark Longworth's son Brandon.  Larry Fasse even got in the car and turned a few laps himself.  Kim Moler also climbed in the car to turn a few laps around her own track also.  Although Fasse did some racing several years ago, this was his first time to actually drive one of his own cars. 

The most rewarding part of the day was watching the huge smiles that emerged from underneath the helmet after he session.  Based upon the day's success, Fasse explained that he hopes to someday have a few events that are more formal lapping days where those who are interested could purchase on-track sessions.
