The Viper Pipes muffler has been purpose
built to increase the performance of your motorcycle powered race car.
The muffler has been designed to fit over any 2” diameter header or
tail pipe and features a welded tab for easy installation. It features
a one piece tapered, perforated and swaged mild steel core that
balances airflow and scavenging characteristics to help your engine
achieve peak performance throughout the entire power band. The muffler
core is wrapped in fiberglass packing and encased in a 4” diameter
.065 aluminum housing that creates a durable, lightweight muffler that
is capable of meeting most tracks and organizations decibel (db
requirements) rules. The 14 inch version of this muffler weighs 3.3
pounds (almost a full pound lighter than the competition). |

Viper VPR - This muffler is
designed for the budget minded racer who demands performance. The
Viper Pipes VPR features all of the scavenging and airflow
characteristics of our higher priced model and features a raw finish
that has been dipped for limited protection against corrosion, but
doesn't have the polished and ceramic coated finish of the VPX. This
muffler is available in 12" and 14" lengths.

Viper VPX- This muffler is designed for
the racer that wants maximum performance. The Viper Pipes VPX
optimizes scavenging and airflow characteristics through the use of a
polished, ceramic coated core and enhances appearance through a
specially coated canister. Dyno tests showed an increase of 3
horsepower over our VPR muffler. |

12" Aluminum Racing Muffler
These S&S racing mufflers have the unparalleled performance of a
straight-through glasspack, using special knit glass wrap around the
core to keep packing from blowing out.. The 6" aluminum shell
accommodates ample space for enough packing to keep db levels low
enough to meet track requirements. The inlet incorporates slipfit to
slide over the collector with a pinch-bolt for tightening. The exit
end has a mounting tab to accommodate support bracing.
17" Aluminum Racing Muffler with 1 3/4" Slipfit
This S&S racing muffler has a megaphone style core that tapers from
the 1 3/4" slipfit at the inlet to the 2 1/2" 45 degree bend at the
exit and is encased in a 4" aluminum shell. The 17" long tapered core
adds to the scavenging of the header.
17" Aluminum Muffler with 2" Slipfit
This S&S racing muffler has a megaphone style core that tapers from
the 2" slipfit at the inlet to the 2 1/2" 45 degree bend at the exit
